| 1. | The Flood-Gates Open | Greg (+3) is off to a hot start with the highest score again this week. He did this with one of his players getting only 2.2 points and another getting none whatsoever. He got huge weeks from Antonio Gates and Giovani Bernard. Solid performances from the rest of his team more than made up for the absence of AJ Green and Garcon’s poor showing. Greg is an early favorite for this year’s championship. |
| 2. | High Ankle Prayin’ | Caitlin (-1) put together a decent week but Jamaal Charles left the game early with a high ankle sprain. This could mean trouble for her hopes to take home the trophy this year. Sammy Watkins had a great week for her as did Julio Jones. Things were a little sparse at other positions but the solution to that may be on her bench where Delanie Walker got 30 points this week. |
| 3. | Sprole-in’ Along | Mikey (+3) improved on his score last week mostly through the efforts of Darren Sproles. Sproles and Marshall both had great weeks which covered for a slower week from Mikey’s QB’s. Tight end is a weak spot for Mikey, though. He needs to improve this position if he wants to make it to the championship. |
| 4. | No Mercy | After a strong week last week, Alison (-1) sustained a 55 point drubbing to drop to 1-1. Once again Alison is leading the league in points against. If this trend continues she could have a tough season. She needs her team to perform much better than they did this week. |
| 5. | Lucky Penny | Andrew (-3) got a major break this week facing Jimmy who got the lowest score this year. Poor performances from his receivers and an injury to Knowshon Moreno lead to Andrew’s low score. The injury to Knowshon could mean trouble for Andrew in the weeks to come. |
| 6. | Switchin it Up | Tim (+4) is off to a decent start. He had a rough week last week but a major improvement from Rodgers and strong performance from the Redskins defense gave Tim the edge this week. However, injuries are starting to build up for Tim. He lost RG3 to a dislocated ankle and Mark Ingram to a broken hand. Carson Palmer who had a strong first week is also experiencing some nerve issues in his shoulder and is questionable for Sunday’s game. These injuries, along with Adrian Peterson’s continued legal troubles could be serious problems for Tim’s playoff hopes. |
| 7. | Cardinals Rule | Steve (0) got a great week from the Cardinals defense and had strong performances from his quarterbacks as well. He fell to 0-2 but has a talented enough team that he can easily recover from that. He does need to bolster his roster at running back. His backs have been inconsistent so far and he needs to improve there in order start winning. |
| 8. | Cry Me A Rivers | Had Brian (0) not made the unfortunate decision to start Jake Locker over Philip Rivers, he could have won his matchup handily. Jimmy Graham had an awesome game though, and Edelman and Brown did well also. Brian is 0-2 but Wes Welker just got unsuspended and his running backs are up against softer defenses this week. Things could start turning around for Brian this week. |
| 9. | Zero Tolerance | Jimmy (-4) had a dismal week; he got a total of -1 points from his flex, defense, and kicker. Alfred Morris and Martellus Bennet had decent weeks but the rest of his team left much to be desired. |
| 10. | Model of (Awful) Consistency | Greg (-1) repeated his performance from last week racking up a total of 124.9 points two weeks in a row. This admirably awful feat puts Greg in last place and he needs to do some serious work if he wants to dig himself out of this hole. |
