| 1. | Kung Fu Hustle | Lead by the Karate Kid, Antonio Brown, and his sensei, Ben Roethlisberger, Brian was able to assemble an excellent team. Brian’s team features a strong receiving corps, a good starting RB tandem and decent QBs. |
| Strengths | WR: Antonio Brown and Mike Evans are very strong starters RB: Forsett and Anderson were two of the top ten RBs last year and should do very well last year |
|
| Weaknesses | TE: with Julius Thomas hurt (and starting for the Jags) he has to rely on Coby Fleener and Kyle Rudolph Overconfidence |
|
| 2. | Giant Gamble | Greg took a gamble on Big Blue by keeping ODB and drafting both Eli and Victor Cruz. Cruz, however is his fifth WR and the risk of grabbing all the Giants should be mitigated by the fact that his other WRs are ridiculous. He also has Matt Forte and the Bills defense to round his team out. |
| Strengths | WR: Julio Jones, Alshon Jeffrey, ODB, Julian Edelman, Victor Cruz. How did we let this happen guys? | |
| Weaknesses | QB: Greg has to rely on the sometimes professional NFL quarterback/ sometimes professional panicked first grader, Eli Manning, and the eternally sacked Jay Cutler. He is also not carrying a third QB to cover for byes. | |
| 3. | Who Needs Keepers? | Mikey stunned the league by boldly keeping no one from his previous team. He put together a solid draft, grabbing Lacy, McCoy and Graham in the first three rounds. |
| Strengths | QB: A solid trio of Matt Ryan, Ryan Tannehill, and Joe Flacco. | |
| Weaknesses | Depth: Mikey’s bench looks a little weak, with Bush and McFadden backing up his RBs. | |
| 4. | Hopes Reinflated | Steve got some good news recently when Tom Brady’s suspension was nullified. This should make his early season much better than initially expected. |
| Strengths | QB: Drew Brees and Tom Brady make a formidable QB tandem with Tyrod Taylor of Buffalo and Derek (not David) Carr as back ups | |
| Weaknesses | RB: A weak starting duo of Mark Ingram and Latavius Murray backed up by Shane Vereen (a good player but on a very questionable offense), DeMarco Murray’s second back up, Ryan Matthews, and … IS THAT FRED JACKSON!? | |
| 5. | Mixed Emotions | As an avid Packers fan, Andrew must have been extremely disappointed to hear that Jordy Nelson would be missing this season. As a fantasy football player, Andrew must be pleased with the huge boost Randall Cobb should get with Nelson gone for the year. |
| Strengths | WR: Demaryius Thomas, Randall Cobb and Golden Tate should make for a strong starting trio at WR | |
| Weaknesses | Sam Bradford’s Knees The injury prone QB could do very well in the Eagle’s fast paced offense or he could hurt his ACL for the third year running. | |
| 6. | Jamaal-ways the Same | Caitlin, of course, kept Jamaal Charles in the first round. She also kept Alex Smith in the fifteenth. Between those two, she put together a decent team with Peyton Manning at QB and Jordan Matthews at WR. |
| Strengths | Peyton The Seattle defense She will never run out of Jamaal puns |
|
| Weaknesses | RB: After Jamaal, Caitlin has no other standout RBs She will NEVER run out of Jamaal puns |
|
| 7. | Birdo Begone | Utilizing his #1 pick, last year’s Birdo winner was able to be put together a pretty strong starting lineup. Jimmy picked up Adrian Peterson in the first round and kept Marshawn Lynch in the second. His other keeper was Martellus Bennett in the twelfth round, a very solid tight end for so late in the draft. |
| Strengths | Beast Mode WR: Sammy Watkins, T.Y. Hilton and Brandon Marshall should be solid starting receivers |
|
| Weaknesses | Too many questions: Will Peterson still be great after missing most of last year? Is Brandon Marshall going to do anything on the Jets? Is Fred Jackson going to steal carries from Marshawn? The answers to these questions will make or break Jimmy’s season | |
| 8. | Power Sanders | Emmanuel Sanders and Aaron Rodgers should turn out to be fantastic keepers for Tim. With the exception of Demarco Murray, the rest of his team is not too exciting. |
| Strengths | QB: Rodgers and Stafford should be great for Tim | |
| Weaknesses | Depth: Tim’s back up QB, Dalton, has the same bye as Rodgers Week 7: Rodgers, Sanders, Dalton, and Owen Daniels all have byes week 7 |
|
| 9. | You Can’t Outdraft Machinery | Kodz was unable to attend the draft this year and his team was auto-drafted for him. The results are… interesting. Greg is ranked above Alison mostly because of his performance with last year’s auto-drafted team. |
| Strengths | RB: Le’Veon Bell and Lamar Miller should make a solid RB duo for Mr. Kodz GRONK, SMASH |
|
| Weaknesses | QB: Teddy Bridgewater, Colin Kaepernick, and Blake Bortles make for a fairly dismal quarterbacking corps Inability to attend drafts Difficulty answering tough questions like “When are you available?” and “Does this date work for you?” |
|
| 10. | Birdo Watching | Alison had the dubious honor of tying Jimmy for the worst score in the Yahoo draft grades. The report card suggested she take up another hobby, like bird[o] watching. |
| Strengths | Andrew Luck Calvin Johnson Sleepers: her multitudinous sleeper picks, like Brian Quick and Reuben Randle, could have breakout seasons |
|
| Weaknesses | Sleepers: her multitudinous sleeper picks, like Brian Quick and Reuben Randle, could do absolutely nothing. |
